DOUGLAS LEIBER, Senior Vice President of Operations and one of the founders of Azul Hospitality Group, is directly responsible for the day-to-day operations of all development projects and managed resort properties. He also oversees ongoing management operations for the company.

With over eighteen years of industry experience, Leiber has a solid background in all areas of hospitality management, particularly in food and beverage, as well as a strong track record in maximizing bottom-line profit without compromising "best in class" guest service. Prior to founding Azul Hospitality Group, Leiber worked with JC Resorts for over ten years, serving as General Manager for both the Rancho Bernardo Inn and the Temecula Creek Inn, in addition to managing several key development and renovation projects for the organization. He has held Food and Beverage management positions for notable organizations such as Ritz Carlton Hotels, helping to open the Ritz Carlton, Millenia Singapore. Leiber was also employed in various management capacities by the Four Seasons Hotels in Washington, D.C. and Houston, Texas.

Leiber has served as President of the Temecula Valley Convention & Visitors Bureau and the Temecula Tourism Improvement District. He is also actively involved with the Cornell Society and the American Institute of Food and Wine. Leiber received his Bachelor of Science in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
