Mark Tansey

Director of Golf Operations
Mark Tansey, Corporate Director of Golf, oversees the development, management, and marketing of golf courses and programs for all projects and managed resort properties.

Tansey brings over a decade of experience to Azul Hospitality Group. He combines his extensive background in golf course management and sales with a stellar track record in maximizing golf course profitability. Tansey's remarkably diverse background and solid performance history includes hands-on experience in every sector of facilities management, sales, and marketing.

Prior to joining Azul Hospitality Group, Tansey held executive positions in several industry-leading golf management companies. As the founder, owner, and President of Sunrise Golf Group, he has optimized the income potential of dozens of properties. Tansey has also served as Vice President of Golf Operations for Leisure Industries and Executive Vice President of the Walters Golf Corporation, as well as the National Director of Business Development for the American Golf Corporation. Adding to the breadth of his industry experience, Tansey has also served in executive positions in both the association management and facilities management industries.

Tansey has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from the University of Toledo.
