TElaine Ardizzone
Elaine Palminteri Ardizzone, Corporate Director of Restaurants, is responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of culinary and wine programs for Azul Hospitality Group’s resort properties. Her multi-faceted experience in the hospitality industry makes her uniquely skilled to create and tailor food and beverage programs that enhance individual properties while showcasing their proprietary qualities.
In addition to a skilled background of operational and educational expertise, Ardizzone brings vast oenological knowledge to Azul Hospitality Group. A Certified Sommelier from the Court of Master Sommeliers, she garnered the Wine Spectator’s “Award of Excellence” every year from 1993 to 2004 for her outstanding wine lists.
Before joining Azul Hospitality Group, Ardizzone was a partner in three successful properties in Telluride, CO, for which she developed overall concepts, menus, and wine lists, as well as assisting in staffing and operations for each venue. She is also the creator and founder of Sweet Cheeks Baking Co., a wholesale dessert company in San Diego. Prior to her most recent culinary partnerships, Ardizzone served as the Southern California Sales Manager for Vin Divino, Ltd. and General Manager for several properties of Eatertainment, Inc.
Ardizzone holds a Bachelor of Science from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University, is a board member of the Telluride Wine Festival, and has been a guest speaker at the San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival.
