Mary Ann Hemus,
Corporate Director of Sales and Marketing, is directly responsible for
implementing and overseeing successful sales strategies
that result in increased exposure and revenue for all
development projects and resort properties. She also oversees
ongoing sales initiatives for Azul Hospitality Group.
Hemus brings over twenty years
of experience in the hospitality industry to Azul Hospitality
Group, with a strong focus on direct sales. She has successfully
overseen sales efforts for large-scale, full-service properties,
while also assessing existing systems and launching strategic
measures to enhance operations, increase revenues, and
sensibly manage operating budgets.
Hemus has worked as an independent
hospitality consultant, providing full assessments and
recommendations for sales initiatives to increase revenues
to various resorts and developments. She has also acted
in a variety of sales positions for several high-profile
hotel and resort groups, including Boykin Management,
Hyatt, and Hilton Hospitality Corporation.
Hemus studied Sales & Marketing at the University of California, San Diego and has completed management training programs with Hyatt, Embassy Suites, Residence Inns & InterContinental Hotels. She has also served as an instructor for the International Hotel Introductory Course for the San Diego State University Hotel Management Program.
